  • Losing weight - How much is achievable?
In a 68-week medical trial of 1,961 obese or overweight adults with a related medical condition, results showed ~35 lbs (~15% body weight) weight loss for participants. Those on placebo lost an average of 6 lbs (~2.5% body weight). The initial average weight for both groups was ~232 lbs. In a 68-week medical study of obese adults (BMI ≥30) and overweight adults (BMI ≥27) with weight-related medical issues like high blood pressure or high cholesterol, excluding type 2 diabetes patients, both groups received Wegovy™ alongside a reduced-calorie meal plan and increased physical activity.
